Swimming lessons in Wales

Cardiff Council's flagship pool in Cardiff Bay, now run day to day by Legacy Leisure, teaches the Swim Wales Waves pathway from three months old through to adult lessons.

Caerphilly council lessons follow the Swim Wales framework for £20.80 a month, and the direct debit also gets your child free public swimming at six pools.

Cardiff Met's own swim school runs the Wave 1 to 8 pathway in its 4 lane, 25 metre university pool at Cyncoed Campus, starting only from age 4.

Puddle Ducks teaches its full birth to 10 programme in the Novotel Cardiff Centre's hotel pool at Atlantic Wharf, with a parent in the water until age 4.
